Thanks for popping in. Have been clearing away all the demo gear from Friday’s TV shows this afternoon. I didn’t touch half the demos, but you know how it is – fail to prepare, prepare to fail! Thing is, you see, if you don’t have everything exactly there in front of you, ready to reach for, you really have NO time to start looking and faffing. Even after all these years, I go through the demos again and again and again before we go live. Not to check how to do the artwork – to make sure all the things I will need are in the box!
We whistled through the stencil demo with the brushes. I LOVE these new stencils…

Anyway. On to the next adventure.
While there is a temptation to just leave it all in the car for next week’s 4-day marathon Birthday weekend ont telly at the Craft Store, there’s a whole other launch of loveliness on the horizon, and I shall be using completely different things! So I know. I really do have to put it all away in its rightful place, only to get half of it back out again!
I’ve also been getting pretty stoked about the new things coming up next week. Our Clarity Birthday is always in September, and we always do something very special to celebrate. I remember last year, there were lots of smashing new designs, but the one that stood out for me was the wonderful Marina Fedotova Poppets printed on parchment. Superb. And didn’t they go down well ?!
This year is no different. In fact, I’d say this year we’ve really pushed the boat out! We have been working on these designs and ideas for months. MONTHS! And I can’t hazard a guess which one will blow the doors off this time – they are all superb. Just depends on where your art takes you….

I think the Sunday evening launch will be a big hit with anybody who makes anything! Whether you stamp, sew, quilt, paint, make cards, ceramics, make clothes – I mean ANYTHING! It’s a must have.
And the one which really excites me is the Weekend Wow, which kicks the party off at 10am on Friday. Very, very cool. In fact, I’m going to have a play with those things now, get a couple of demos under my belt, get familiar with all the different patterns…
Oooh … she’s such a tease, that Gray. More will be revealed in the week leading up to Friday.
